Recital 2011

Samantha has spent the last few months of dance class preparing for her recital.  She loves recitals!!

  

What's not to love?  The fancy costumes.  The makeup.  The hair styles.  A day that is all about dancing and showing your family what you've learned.

She danced in two numbers.  One was for ballet and the other was jazz.  

She did great!  It was so wonderful to see her doing something she completely loves and improve so much through the year.  

Christmas Dance Recital

Miss Samantha had her Christmas Dance recital last weekend.  She was so excited to finally show us both of the dances she has been learning.  Her class did a tap dance to Let It Snow, Let It Snow, Let It Snow and a ballet dance to Silent Night.  It was wonderful!

I think Samantha would say that the highlight of her weekend was that Grandma Sillman, Great Grandma, Aunt Katie and Logan(cousin) were able to come down to watch.  Grandma did her stage makeup and Aunt Katie did her hair.  So much fun!
