A is for Armadillo

The weather is very rainy here today.  Soccer games cancelled and golf charity event rescheduled.  So, we decided to go for a drive and have lunch at a restaurant we have never visited.  The restaurant is called Chuckwagon Barbecue in Warsaw, MO.  Even though the lunch was GREAT, this was not the highlight of our trip.  In a little town on our way, called Tightwad, MO(it's a blink & you will miss it kinda town)...we saw something on the side of the road.  Roadkill...not your normal roadkill in Missouri...it was an ARMADILLO!!  I couldn't believe it.  On the way back, I made Chad slow down and had the kids look.  They were amazed too.  If it wouldn't have been raining so hard, we may have had photo evidence of our find...  Maybe next time.  :)
