Chad's doing good. Work is great. School is hard to squeeze in. The kids attack him when he walks through the door. He rarely has much down time. But when he does, you can find him catching up on the sleep he has had to say goodbye to.
I am staying the course with schoolwork, kids schoolwork, kids activities, and other normal everyday to do's. Keeps me out of trouble most days.
Mr. Cody is doing well. He has finally fought off this nasty cold bug that has been going around. Last weekend, he played his last basketball game for this season. He is still going to karate once a week and really enjoys it. Spring soccer will start soon and he is signed up for that. He'll also be starting piano lessons this week. He really wants to play the guitar, so we are getting him into piano to learn the basics about music.
Miss Samantha is doing good too. She wasn't lucky enough to miss out on the sickness this time around either. She is finally starting to feel better. Dance is going great. They are learning and rehearsing their dances for recital in June. She is so excited about her dances and the costumes she'll get to wear. Samantha is also signed up for spring soccer this year too. She seems to really enjoy it. Along with Cody, she is going to be starting piano lessons this week. She can't wait and asks everyday how much longer until lessons start.
Miss Chloe is as ornery as ever. She loves making people laugh. If she can't see your face when she's talking to you she'll say her little funny and then she'll say, "Are you laughing?" Oh my...a little class clown in the making. She is so excited to go to preschool this fall. She knows her colors and numbers and we're working on her ABC's now. She loves to color, dance and sing. She is on the go from the moment she gets up until she passes out of exhaustion at night.
Mr. Bubbles is doing okay. He's really showing his age and sleeps most of the day. He'll be 12 years old this summer. He has really mastered the art of making the kids feel sorry for him and offer him a treat to cheer him up. Our home wouldn't be the same without his furry little face! Love him!
There is one major event that we have planned for the near future. We are buying a house. We have been looking for quite some time now...like a year. Lots of patience. Lots of internet home searches. And a few house viewings. The house is so perfect for our family. We are all very excited and can't wait to get moved in.
Well, I think that's about all the news I have for now. I'll post pics of the house after we get moved in. It'll be crazy busy here for a while, but nothing we're not used to.
Until next time...
