On Monday, Cody had his first basketball game. He is playing on a team with 3rd and 4th graders. They have been practicing for a while now and he is doing really well. A few days before his game he told me that he was a little nervous. But, you wouldn't have been able to tell. He did really great!! I had to contain my excitement during the game. For those who have seen me in action(cheering on my brother and sister while they were racing & cheering for my sister during basketball games), this would be no shocker to you. As you would expect, Chad had to reign me in a few times. Although, our girls filled in where I had to be silent. Chloe was clapping louder than everyone and cheered just as loud. Samantha was joining in also.
His team won and Cody scored 6 points. We were so proud of him and his team. We could tell he was pretty excited too!
